We have a Square Online site set up for a nonprofit. We have a donatoin button with a base number and an open-ended custom donation. When someone tries to use the custom donation button, they get an error message at the end of checkout "Unfortunately the item requested is no longer available for the location. to manage your cart, return home"
Any idea how to correct this? Is this an inventory number problem. I don't think inventory is being tracked. Does that need to be t urned on?
Hello @tomg! I just went and looked at your Online site and input $1 for a donation. When I hit "checkout", it takes me to the page to enter my checkout info. Looks like it's working okay for me up until that point.
I know you said it's happening at the end, but can you confirm exactly where towards the end? Is it at the tail end of the checkout flow where it stops working? Meaning- someone enters all of their personal information > clicks Next > then they get the error message?
The only reason I'd like some clarification is because your settings look to be fine. Let me know!
The error "Unfortunately the item requested is no longer available for the location. To manage your cart, return home" happens at the very end of checkout. After you enter credit card info and hit final submit.
I have talked to Weebly team twice this week trying to get it fixed. They are looking into it.
