I see that USA has this feature where customers can sign up for news letter and get a unique coupon code. Is this in Canada as well?

Yes, it is!

Square Marketing has several pre-built email campaigns you can choose from based on your business goals. You could create a one-time campaign to reward your top spenders with a unique discount code, or create an automated email for new customers, birthdays or lapsed customers.
