Yes! This is also happening to us but we’ve had so many other issues with our website we haven’t had a chance to look into this one yet.
Oh, gotcha. I have not had this reported to me by any other Sellers, and I do not see anything similar in the support rooms. 🤔
It looks like a support rep escalated a case for you. You should receive updates via email once the team has new information to share. I'll also keep an eye out in case I I come across any relevant information as well.
Yeah I suggested she create a ticket, but said she’d want me to go thru all the troubleshooting steps before doing so, and I’m not ready to delete/reinstall all my devices.
Last month you guys had this glitch that showed other Square users details in the settings so I feel like it’s something mildly similar
I am seeing this as well on our account on all Square online transactions. They all say "7 items added. Feb 1, 6:59 PM EST by Square Online" When I click "details" it shows "Cookie (Chocolate) x 5.00 lb"
I believe I know the bug you are referring to, but it was slightly different. It was also affecting multiple users, and so far I only see your case number referencing this. I'm going to keep looking through the support requests to see if I can find any other reports.
You said this is on all orders, correct? I want to make sure to pass this information over to the engineers. Any other details you have to provide would be helpful as well in case they are not able to replicate in their account.

no other details, it’s just on every order active or archived, and seems like it’s mobile app only

It does feel like a mock example that was forgotten there. someone on FB says CS told them it was on purpose to show how transactions should be logged but I don’t think it makes sense at all.

I have been out of the office since the last time we spoke, @CandP, but will follow up with the support teams to see if we have more information about this. Since it's affecting multiple sellers, I imagine a bug has already been submitted.
I should have more information by tomorrow, and will follow up here. If anyone has any additional details to add, please let me know so I can make sure the advanced support team and engineers have all relevant data for troubleshooting.

Thanks for posting, @clarajanenash Do you happen to have a screenshot we can use? I'm not finding any new information about this, and would like to try to escalate further. Are you only seeing the additional information through the app on a mobile device and not through the dashboard on a desktop/laptop browser?
