Changing Pick-Up Dates for Orders

Hey!

 

So I've used the pre-order function before.

 

But for some reason, the past couple of days (including outage day) I haven't been able to change the pick-up date for online orders?

 

Has anyone else run into this issue? It just...won't load the page to make a change. I've attached a screenshot.

 

Any help would be amazing! Valentine's orders *should* be coming in this week, but if customers can't select the date, then they can't order the pre-order item.

Hey there @lenjobakes 

 

We've had a couple of Square Online-related disruptions recently some smaller than others. Can you confirm if this is still happening to you? I will go ahead and escalate this if it is.

Hey @JJ_!

 

I did end up calling in to Support for this. I was advised that despite setting up customized fulfillment hours in the pre-orders setting, the system wouldn't let people choose a time (and therefore wouldn't populate a time to select from) because it was outside of the fulfillment hours in settings.

 

However, that's exactly why the custom fulfillment hours exist? So I'm not sure why it wouldn't populate.

 

But when I changed the pick up date in the settings, it started populating. I needed a workaround and this one worked.

 

I just hope I remember to turn off the additional day so that customers don't place future orders for pick up outside of our typical hours!
