Category bug in online store

We've been having a specific issue regarding new items & categories for several months now.

 

When we add a new item to our catalog in Square online, we mark it as "Available" and assign it to a category.

 

We then go to the category on the backend and see it listed at the very top, indicating it will appear first in the list in our store.  However, in our online store, the item actually shows up at the bottom of the list.

 

We then return to the category on the backend and see it is still indeed listed at the top of the list, so it doesn't appear as though there's anything to "correct."  To fix the problem, we have to move the item out of the 1st position, save the item, open it back up, and move the item BACK to the 1st position & save.  Only after doing this will the item appear properly at the top of the category in our store.

 

We add a lot of new items to our menu weekly, so this is a real inconvenience.  I tried contacting your support team to report the bug but told me to report it as a "feature suggestion."  Eliminating a bug is not a feature suggestion, so I wanted to make a report of it here, especially in case anyone else is experiencing this.

 

Can someone please let me know if your team is aware of the issue and if they are working on a resolution?  Thank you!

HI, you can assign an Arrangement Value within the Editor.

 

Online Dashboard, Website, Edit Site, Shop All, Item List, Arrange & Add Items, Arrangement, select Value
