Categories

I'm just setting up my shop online, so I created all the products, then created three categories to divide them up. This has worked, and all the items are in the correct categories. However, all of the individual items are also showing on the shop now page. How do I stop them from showing apart from in their categories please?

I'd be happy to help, can you confirm if your categories are appearing in the navigation header as individual pages and then there's also a Shop All page? Or, are the categories appearing on the Shop All page and then the list of items on the same page? 

If so, your site editor should look something like this and by clicking on Items you can manually delete them.
