Cash drawer to printer - no printer shows up when connecting

When connected to the printer should it show up in settings/hardware/cash draw

Only if your Cash drawer is USB and plugs directly in the the accessories hub on the power cable. 

Printer driven cash drawers do not appear there since they're plugged directly into the back of the printer. To test, run a 'no sale'  by tapping the charge button twice in Checkout.
