Just developing a new site. We have cables that are defined by their length and color. I have configured these as 2 'option sets' (length & color).
Once a customer has made their choice it is of course added to the cart.
One can hover over the cart icon and see the product and its options - length & color.
However, when one clicks on the cart these options are no longer shown.
Via mobile the options are correctly displayed in the cart. Should a product be defined by 'variation' or 'modifier' then these too are also correctly shown via desktop or mobile.
It would appear that a bug is preventing options from being correctly shown in the cart when in desktop mode. This something that really needs to be fixed as displaying these options provides confidence to the customer that they are ordering the correct product.
Can anyone else verify this behavior? Or what am I doing wrong? Thnx
Hey @La10, thank you so much for your post, and welcome to the Seller Community!
That does sound a bit odd alright. Could you share your website URL with me, please? I'll have a look on my end to see if I can replicate and troubleshoot the issue. Thanks!
@k_atieThanks for coming back to me.
I've found the cause of this bug. When entering the site, the 'cookie consent' window appears. If you click 'accept all' then no problem exists and the product 'options' appear when the cart is clicked.
If you select 'use only necessary' cookies then this bug manifests itself and no product 'options' appear when the cart is clicked.
So not a mobile/desktop issue as I first thought.
