Cancel Contracts sent to Clients

Not necessarily a discussion, but just a suggestion.

 

For the new contract option for Square, can you make it to where we can make an amendment to the contract if it's not signed and if we can cancel/terminate contract with a client if they cancel services? Also in our contract area, if we could delete a contract if it hasn't been signed as well. 

 

I just think it'd be super helpful.

I've seen requests before about deleting contracts as well so it looks like you're not the only one looking for that.

Hi @daniellecp - I see this is your first post in the Seller Community so I'd like to officially welcome you! 🎉👏

 

If you click on the Invoice from your Dashboard, then click more in the bottom right, you'll see the option to archive. But there isn't an option to delete them.

It looks like, from browsing this thread, that this has not been updated or fixed?

 

I'd like a way to cancel a contract that, in my case, I sent erroneously and the client signed. Seems like a really important feature to be able to follow up in different cases that aren't straight forward.

 

I'd also like to be able to delete contracts that were not signed because client changed their mind.

I also would like the option to cancel a contract that the client has signed. In this case, the client signed the contract and then realized the date of service was not correct and wanted to change it. I cannot edit the contract to correct the date and I cannot cancel the contract with the incorrect date. This is very frustrating as I have had this happen before. It seems like it would be a simple fix but this discussion has been going for four years now...
