Can I customize confirmation emails for digital products?

I sell preorders for books using the "digital" product type on Weebly. I have to use the digital type instead of physical because otherwise the pickup time and instructions in the confirmation email would be wrong, as the book will not be available for weeks or months.  However, with the digital product type, the customer gets an email that states: "Your downloadable file will be sent to you soon in a separate email. If you have any questions, please contact us."  Is there any way to customize or delete that text?  I have been able to add text to the header above that, but I would really like to just delete that chunk of text totally and I do not see a way to do that.  Please help! Not all digital products involve a downloadable file!

wow - I have this same issue...I am selling e-courses - they will not receive a downloadable file but a separate email for instructions to log into the course.  Any idea when this will be fixed?

I see you're struggling with the limitations of email customization for digital products on Weebly. 

While I don't have a direct solution for the email customization. We might have a good workaround. we recently launched an app in the Square marketplace that might just be what you need. Our platform allows you to automate the delivery of digital products, whether they're download links or access instructions for an e-course or ebook.

Especially since you’re dealing with preorders, we have a specific solution for pre-orders that I think will work great. We're really excited about the potential to help make your (digital) life easier!
