Hey, we are a restaurant and I am just now going through adding items to our self serve ordering. Found two bugs that I just wanted to let y'all know about!
1. If you update the fulfillment methods and item visibility and then change the item type, then only the visibility will change and not the fulfillment methods.
2. If you bulk edit items it will not uncheck a Fulfillment method.
For example, Pickup was checkboxed for all items. I tried to bulk edit and only checkboxed Self-Serve. I then checked on my items and Pickup was still checkedboxed as well as Self-Serve.
Hm, this may depend on the item type you are trying to change, @ATKM.
For example - physical items can be fulfilled, but you can’t “deliver” a membership. We would need to know more details to confirm, but it is best for you to go ahead and reach out directly since the second point here definitely doesn’t sound right. I called to get this sent to the engineers. Not sure if they reference this forum post or the support ticket but I just wanted to give an update.
I went back and was able to uncheck fulfillment options using bulk edit. It was a little different than last time. The first time I had Pick-up checked and wanted to change it to unchecked Pick-up and checked Self-Serve. This time I had both checked and just wanted to uncheck Self-Serve.
So bulk edit worked this time, so it can clearly uncheck boxes. Not sure if my initial problem is repeatable or just a fluke.
This references problem #2. I haven't tried anything else in regards to problem #1.
I just unchecked the self-serve ordering box on a physical item and changed it to a prepared food and beverage and it did not save the fulfillment change. So problem #1 seems to still be a thing.
