Hi All,
On my web site I have setup a small pop up for my possible customers to enter their details as a way of e-mail subscription (Create automated e-mails for subscribers to get early bird specials and news) but I noticed a huge problem recently.
Because Square now no longer users weebly for email automation and they have their own in-house e-mail automation has anyone actually looked at what they are offering and improve some the templates. This is how it needs to work.
Customer enters website-- popup appears-- customer enters details (gets a nice message to check their e-mail for our new emails). Sqaure receives new customer information, and an easy automated e-mail is sent (automated as new customer contact) notification sent to my e-mail of new customer.
Since the change over from weebly to your in-house system this process has been broken and your marketing section is very uninviting, please improve this area.
Thanks.
Hi @Bauldrick 👋,
Thanks for reaching out to share your feedback with us about Square Marketing!
So, if I understand correctly, is the main issue you're encountering the absence of a "Subscribe to emails" pop-up on your Square Online site? I want to ensure I'm on the same page as you here, before I reach out to my team to pass on this feedback.
In the meantime, customers can opt in to receive email communications from your business on the Checkout page. Your customers can tick the I want this business to use the data "I provided to send me marketing communications until I unsubscribe" box which will automatically subscribe them to your Customer Directory.
