It is wonderful now having the POS discounts show up on Square Online!
However, the web site implementation feels incomplete. Square Online displays a tag on the item indicating "SALE <product name>" and then only displays the original list price. This is counter-intuitive for two reasons: 1) it implies that the list price is the sale price, and 2) it is different from the behaviour of the Square Online discount feature which displays the sale price next to the stroked-out list price.
Additionally, if you implement a discount in the POS and also a sale price in Square Online, the discount price reflects exactly as above and the discounts stack when submitted to the cart. I can see where this might be useful but on the surface it is confusing.
Hey there, @DragonCards -
Completely understand your feedback on this one. Are you seeing the discounted price whenever you click on the item itself?
Yes, the discounts & coupon code operate separately from each other in those areas. If you have some features you'd like to see, I can suggest adding these to Ideate Board. Please make sure to post one feature per post.
Thank you!
Hi @Kassi_ ,
No, the discounted price does not show up in either the search results or on the item detail page.
Thanks for the other suggestion, I will check out the Ideate Board.
