Currently, there is an option for RESTRICTED DATES that we can add in. I'm wondering if I can add in a special pickup date? For example, my only pickup days are Fridays. If I want to eliminate a specific Friday, I can do that under the "RESTRICTED DATES" section. But, if I wanted to add a special day, for example, Thursday, 1/23/25 - the only way for me to do that is to add in Thursday as a pickup date, and then restrict all Thursdays except 1/23/25. Is there a way to just add in a special day for pickup outside of our normal set parameters?
Hi @piewaytoheaven, we appreciate your post!
I'm going to go ahead and tag one of our Square Champions who might be able to shine some light on this. @TheRealChipA, are you aware if this is doable?
If it is not a feature it would be a great suggestion on our Ideate platform!
Thanks for the shoutout @Sammie_C.
@piewaytoheaven I’ve read your post and am going to give it a night of thinking on it. Honestly, at first glance, I think this falls into the realm of a feature request. If so, it is one that I will fully and vocally support. I see the potential for much more flexibility in the area of scheduled fulfillment dates. Squares has come a long way here, but more is definitely needed.
I’ll touch base again sometime tomorrow.
@piewaytoheaven I thought about it. I’ve looked around this morning. At this point all I can recommend is what @Sammie_C recommended — go to the Ideate Board and submit a feature request to the Square Online team. This will get the ball rolling on evaluation and, hopefully, a positive decision to add this to a future product roadmap. Once you submit that, please come back here and post a link to your feature, so that I can support it.
Thank you for looking into this, @TheRealChipA!
Unfortunately, we could not find a workaround for your initial post, @piewaytoheaven. Feel free to post on the Ideate platform, or I'd recommend even skimming through to see if any other sellers have similar suggestions and add a comment on there as well. The more attention a post receives, the more likely it is to catch a product manager's eye.
Let us know if you have any other questions in the meantime!
