Account query from minor contributor

I am in Australia. I have accounts for $120 USD and $33 USD, which is far TOO MUCH for what I use my Weebly a/c for. I am 81 years old & have been writing a Weebly blog for 12 years, as well as some stories. I cannot see why I should be paying this large amount, which I cannot afford. If I cancel the Personal Plan, what happens? I am not running a business!
Please advise... Will I lose everything if I no longer pay?

Hello @diannaedwardsan

And WELCOME to our Seller Community, we're always excited to see new faces.

I have linked here our plan comparison, so you can check out exactly what features you would be missing out on should you decide to cancel your plan.

The main advantage of the personal plan over the free one is that it gives you the ability to publish your site to your custom domain, which makes it easier for people to find your site.

If a Weebly subdomain would work for you, then you can cancel both of the plans you're paying for, as one is the hosting plan (personal) and the other is the domain ownership.

As for your content, you won't lose it if you decide to cancel your hosting plan, but your site will be unpublished, which means it won't be available for public view until you change your current custom domain to a Weebly subdomain.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you.

I am NOT selling anything. I simply wish to maintain the Weebly site that I have had for 12+ years. It seems that 'Weebly' has changed from a writing content place into a money-grabbing sales organisation. I am an elderly lady wishing to keep my original story writing and occasional blog posting site going. Looks like I have to leave Weebly. I am so disappointed.
