Hello. I have a hobby baking business and I intend to keep it like that. Having said that, I am only capable of fulfilling 1 order/day maximum. The issue is I have 2 locations: the "home base" or my home where I bake and people can pick up their orders or I can also deliver. The 2nd location is my full time job in a different city where I can also deliver in that area or people can pick it up from my workplace. I am concerned that one day I'll have concurrent orders placed at both locations. I would like to be able to set up only 1 order/day for all my locations. It seems I can't do that: I can limit the orders per individual location and not globally. Help anyone?
Hi. Thanks for your reply. Yes, I do have day restrictions - I restrict orders for my workplace location whenever I am off work (I get a day off during each week). Your suggestion looks interesting. I might set up one location as available during the first half of the week and the other one during the last half. Thanks.
so you have set up 2 square locations in your account?
If that's true, have you thought about restricting based on days? Home location orders on weekends and work during week? That way you can set up availability for each location.
