Why do I see this warning? 'Potential Security Risk Ahead'

The title of this thread has been edited from the original: 'Potential Security Risk Ahead'

I'm new and ,

Square changed my domains dns information from my domain suplier.

And now when I wrote my web site name to any browser I get same warning.

For example firefox says :

Warning: Potential Security Risk Ahead

Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to www.MYWEBSITEname.co.uk . If you visit this site, attackers could try to steal information like your passwords, emails, or credit card details.

What can you do about it?

The issue is most likely with the web site, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the web site’s administrator about the problem.

Is this something will happen all the time? Does square have security sertificate installed for us?

Hi @SqrLrnr, welcome to the Seller Community!

When the DNS records are updated, it can take 24 to 48 hours before the site is fully secured. If it has been more than 48 hours since the records are updated, please try unpublishing and republishing your site as this usually help trigger the security certificate.

If this doesn't work, can you let me know the URL for your site? That way, I can definitely take a look at it on my end!

Make sure you have a valid SSL certificate, if you don't, a browser cannot ensure security.
