Os version of terminal

Hello.

i have a square terminal with the os version of 5.41.0088. It is really lagging and I’m hoping I don’t have to buy another terminal. Any solutions?

Welcome to our Seller Community! You can update the software on your Square Terminal, which will help speed up operating your hardware. Here's how:

1. Tap ≡More > Settings > Hardware > General > About Terminal > Software Update.

2. Tap Check for Update to see if there’s an available software update. If you see Software Up To Date then you’re all set. Software updates typically take around 15 minutes to one hour to complete. Square Terminal updates automatically overnight as long as it’s powered on and plugged in.
