We have been using two square terminals in our mobile cafe for 2 months. The terminals are connected to a high end cradle point access point via wifi.
Last 2 days, the terminals have been loosing network connections and refusing to authorize payments, load customer lists etc.
Other android and laptop devices in the mobile cafe continue to function with the wifi connection so the access point is not loosing connectivity.
I connected the units to ethernet using the square ethernet dock and that restores network connectivity.
The only way to get the terminals to reconnect to any wifi access point is to perform a reset. Then, it works for a few hours and ultimately fails again.
This is not sustainable and we are loosing revenue because of the loss of connectivity.
Any suggestions for how to fix this and ... is it possible that the terminals inherited an issue with the recent times change?
thx
We now have 4 terminals that are not able to connect to a wifi network.
The terminal was hooked up to ethernet, pulled an IP address and ... it can't load the customer list, with a message saying network is not available.
Weird that all four Terminals are failing to connect to internet under the same network.
