still getting insufficient stock alerts

I have opted not to track inventory, but I'm still getting insufficient stock alerts. It's not impacting my ability to sell, it's just annoying. Any suggestions?

Quick question are these alerts emails or in-app notifications? Also, how long ago did you opt out of inventory tracking?

They are in app alerts, when I put together an invoice for instance. It gives me a (!) symbol and tells me I've got insufficient stock. I never used to get these alerts, so I'm not sure what changed. I toggled off inventory tracking on at least one item months ago, and I just tried revisiting the problematic items recently but I'm still getting this alert.
