The Contactless and Chip Reader is compatible with iPhone 6 so it should be able to connect. If you haven't had the chance already, please take a look at Kelly's reply in this thread: What are the troubleshooting steps for the Contactless and Chip Card Reader?. Those troubleshooting tips usually resolve these kinds of issues right away.
