Why is QuickBooks Payroll not working after the update?

My QuickBooks Payroll suddenly stopped working after the latest update. I can’t run or submit payroll, and it shows an unexpected error message. Tried restarting QuickBooks and updating tax tables but no luck. Has anyone fixed this before?
