What steps can I take to resolve issues with accepting payments using Tap to Pay between devices?

I can’t get point of sale tap for phones?? Physical card and manual yes but getting a very different screen and it doesn’t register a sale. Anyone else having a problem in Australia today. Everything connected and charged . On and off. Deleted and reinstalled still nothing for tap from a phone

Can you confirm whether you are using a compatible Android or iPhone for tap payments? Additionally, when you attempt to process a tap to pay payment from a device, does your screen change at all, or display an error message?


When attempting to process those payments, did you notice whether the customers had phone cases on? Sometimes, phone cases can interfere with the NFC functionality when payments are attempted between devices. However, this isn't the only potential issue, especially if the problem occurred with all devices and not just those with cases.
