What are some options for accepting payments remotely at events?

I run a small nonprofit and don't want to have my phone be the only source for payment at our upcoming events. What are my best options for setting up payments at the event without my phone so I can come and go?

Hi @ssbm!

When you need flexibility to come and go during events, I'd recommend using Square Payment Links. This solution allows you to accept payments via QR code that attendees can access anytime without you having to physically process the payment.

Setting up Payment Links is straightforward:

1. Sign in to your Square Dashboard and go to Invoices & payments > Payment links
2. Click Create link
3. Choose either Collect a payment, Sell an item, Sell an event or class, or Accept a donation and click Continue
4. Enter a title for your link
5. Add an optional description and image
6. Toggle on Custom fields if you want to collect additional information from attendees
7. Click Save
8. Once created, click Share and choose the QR code option to download/print

This way, attendees can make payments throughout your event, even when you're not available to process them personally.
