Not sure if anyone is anyone facing this issue. Let me describe it.
Our customers get charged successfully. That person leaves the register. Another customer arrives and we begin to take their order. The last customers order reappears on the register. We delete their order and take the new customers order. On clicking the "pay" button we see the last customers name in the space to pay for the current order. We then delete the name of the last customer! If we don't delete it then the last customer will end up paying for the current customers order.
This does not happen with every transaction. There is no pattern at all to what kind of card or how a person is using their card.
We have not been able to successfully get square to help us. Every time we reach out to them the call gets disconnected and we want to give them the benefit of the doubt but calls have been disconnected numerous times. We never receive a call back from square.
Anyone running into the same issue? Since we have been unsuccessfully trying, is there a way we can bring this up to the top.

However, I'm sorry a frustrating experience with Support has brought you here. I want to help you get this resolved as quick as possible. Could you possibly take a video of what you are seeing? We have already opened a case with Square.Videos and needed information has been supplied to the engineering team and the engineers concluded their investigation in the initial ticket. They have elected top open a tracker ticket. They wrote us back informing us that there has been no resolution as of this time.
