Unable to enter credit card by swipe or chip on G-5 phone.

With ew G-5Android  phone we are unable to process any credit card by swipe or chip reader.  Card reader worked with previous G-4 phone, but never been able to make crip reader work with both phones.  All transaction must be manual transaction causing delay, inconvenience, and higher cost.  A call to Square Customer Service did not offer a solution, except to purchase additional equipment.  Most frustrating, as $50 chip reader has never worked.

Sorry to hear you're having issues connecting the Contactless Chip reader with your new device. 

Whenever you try to connect them, do you receive an error message through the app? Or does it never connect? 

What kind of issues do you have trying to connect the magstripe reader?
