Trying to Setup BOGO sale

We run a used book store and every month usual run a sale possibly two and often it is a BOGO sale of some sort on a specific type of book or just a start BOGO sale on the books in the store. I have set this up as a discount and followed the online instructions to create it in discounts.

The rule rule reads: “When customer purchases any 2 items from (then I list four items) Apply 100% discount to 1 additional item of equal or lesser value from (then list the same four items).”

i then ring up a sale of two books apply the discount and then the total reads zero it discounts everything.

I have tried to do it at different percentages but it still doesn’t work correctly.

what am I missing?

From what I can see, your discount is calculating correctly. 

I did a test run of adding 3 hard cover books to my cart and $3 for one of the hardcover books came off. Are you still seeing it compute incorrectly?

I’m still getting the same results. If I put two Hard Covers in and apply the discount I get a 100% discount. Now if I add a third item it discounts that too. 

I have added some pics here, I’m just thinking I’m missing something.
