I have a shop with multiple square accounts as we are all our own business but use the same space. Can we all use one register for our accounts and switch between?

You may want to consider the Tax situation - if everything is under one account - the Tax reporting is on you as everything is now your responsibility to manage. And what about inventory - assuming some folks would want that feature while others don't need it - how do you plan to manage that ? Just a thought but, consider keeping all accounts separate as you indicated that each vendor has their own Square Account.
It would be best for you and your others sellers to switch accounts for their sales - the downside is the customer - you would need to explain the purchase delay for switching the account. One has to understand that Square is not a one size that fits all requirements. Perhaps another Community Member has a solution that would work for your scenario.

You can have multiple Square accounts while using the same Square Register. You’ll simply need to sign out on your Register, and sign back in with a different account. Furthermore, you'll want to make sure you're signed in to the correct account before taking payments, so the sale will be attributed to the Square account.
