Square Terminal started prompting to 'enter name or ticket number'

I have tried turning off and deleting the open ticket integrations, and have also turned off the 'order ticket's, however the terminal still prompts to 'enter name or number' before the payment screen. I have tried rebooting, reconnecting and everything is up to date. The only thing that works is selecting 'auto assign' ticket numbers.

 

Before yesterday, I was able to have the 'order tickets' and 'open tickets' turned on, and it would never show up on the terminal, even when I didn't enter a name on the till. The terminal would always just go straight to the payment screen (as I don't always need to enter ticket names when there is only one customer).  But when it gets busy, I do start collecting names so it is ideal to have the setting turned on, and be able to skip when not needed, just as i used to be able to. 

 

I haven't changed any settings, so I am very confused why all of a sudden the terminal is prompting customers to enter their name?

I'm suddenly having the same issue at my retail shop and would like to get rid of it!! I scan the items and press charge, but before it goes to the pay screen I get this new prompt screen. Yes, it has a skip function but it's just one extra step that is not necessary especially when busy.  Just started happening. Any help is greatly appreciated. 🙂unwanted new prompt!!unwanted new prompt!!

Unfortunately I'm traveling today, so I can't send a screenshot currently, but under "Settings", there is a section that enables/disables this, but I for the life me can't remember exactly where it is.   If no one else replies, I should be able to post exactly where it is Sunday.

This is now happening for us too.  We just upgraded to Retail Plus - not sure if that is why this is happening, it's super annoying for my staff since this has never happened prior to today.
