Square Register has no password protection, so anyone who can physically access the device has full access to the Square account. This is unacceptable. Not sure how can a device which has financial data not have a password. Ideas?

You can enable a passcode for your Square Register. On the bottom of your screen, select More > Settings > Security > Enable Passcodes. If you haven't already created individual, or team passcodes, get started with this guide. Keep in mind that if you're using Square for Retail, or Square Appointments on your Register, you might have to sign out of your Register and sign back into your standard point of sale app to enable passcodes.
