I am hoping someone can help me!
We have two restaurant the first restaurant we immediately set up square and got things printing.
I have started to set up the second and have spent two days trying to get he printing to work.
- everything is on the same network
- i have checked all ip adress' and tried to add them in the app but square cant find them
- i have turned everything off and on again, deleted and re downloaded, checked settings (router, modem printers, iPads, desktop, terminals)
LASTLY as a test I re downloaded lightspeed our previous pos and the printers worked straight away. We can also access the printing through the hand held terminals. I have alos downloaded the epson app and all printers are visible and working.
I have contacted square because I think there may be and issues with the app and soemthing is stopping the connection.
CAN SOMEONE HELP ME IM GOING CRAZY
@Gumnut Make sure you have the ipad set up to be discoverable on the network/visible. If this is blocked, I don't think it will connect to the printers at all.
The iPad can connect through another app to the printers just not square. And in settings in the app for square network is turned on
