Reader will not pair

Brand new reader won't connect at all thru Bluetooth, I have done all the troubleshooting multiple times over and over. I am about ready to leave as they don't ever help and push to buy new equipment, which I just did for the second time in 18 months

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Reader. 

If it's been less than 30 days since your Reader was delivered, you can return it. We will refund your purchase price in full and cover the cost of return shipping.

 

Additionally, Square warrants your Square hardware against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the shipping date. Square will replace defective Square Hardware at no cost to you. 

 

If you'd like to get your Reader replaced, you can follow the steps in this article
