Has anyone come up with a fix for reader damaged error?

I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with your Reader.
If your hardware is marked as Damaged, it means that the physical security measures built into the Reader have been triggered, which deactivates your Reader for security reasons. This can sometimes happen by accident, like rough handling during shipping or dropping the device.
You will have to file a warranty on the Reader, so we can replace it for you and get your business up and running. You'll find more information about submitting a warranty on our Support Center.
