**Only Print Online & Kiosk Orders from KDS When Completing an Order**

Hi guys,

I only want to print online and KDS orders when completing an order on the KDS.
At the moment it either prints all in-store orders as well, or prints nothing at all when the order is completed. I’m not sure which settings I should be using in the print profiles so that only online orders print on completion.

Also, is it possible to print one item at a time from a ticket, rather than all items at once when completing the ticket?

For example:
If a ticket has 5 items and I mark 1 item as complete, can it print just that item, and then the next item as it’s completed?

Currently I have it set to print separate tickets for each item (which is what I want), but they only print when the entire ticket is marked complete. This causes problems because some items are prepared much faster than others.

Thanks for reaching out! To have only online orders print when completed on the KDS, please check your Print Profile (Dashboard > Settings > Hardware > Printers) and make sure only Online/Pickup/Delivery order types are selected, and that In-Store orders are unchecked. If it’s printing all orders, those filters are likely enabled; if nothing prints, the printer may not be properly assigned to the KDS profile. Regarding printing one item at a time as it’s marked complete, KDS currently triggers printing only when the entire ticket is completed, even if “separate tickets per item” is enabled, it won’t print each item individually as it’s marked done. I understand how that impacts prep timing, and I’m happy to share this feedback with our product team.
