My terminal screen is turning off/on... top of screen is not responding to touch

My terminal screen is continually turning off and on every 30 seconds or so, for no reason.

 

The bigger issue is that the TOP of the screen is not responsive to touch... The back arrow, X to close, or Add button, nothing happens when you touch them. The rest of the screen works fine. Without the top of the screen, I can't "Add" items or go back 😞

 

I have done all the trouble shooting, including reset, software update, etc.  HELP!

Thank you... I have contacted support, hope they can help! As a "workaround" I've setup the terminal as a 2nd monitor and doing the checkout on my iPad. This works, but not the way I want to use the terminal.

I just noticed that the terminal screen is randomly turning on & off... I can shut it off with the switch, but 30 seconds later it comes back on... even when the iPad Bluetooth is turned OFF, and not accessing the terminal <UGH>
