I have checked to ensure that the transactions were successful, but the transactions that were made between 8pm and midnight last night are not showing in the balance screen.

I notice this is your first post, welcome to the seller community.
If you check your transfer settings on the dashboard, there is a 'Close of Day' setting. I wonder whether this is set to 8pm.
If this is the case, then the missing transaction will show in the following days balance/transfer.
It's best to adjust these settings to suit your business but be aware that there is a cutoff time (explained in the balance settings screen) and if your close of business is past that cutoff then your balance transfeer will be delayed by a day.
