Money Network Cards

Occasionally, Square owners have noted that some random times, their system will just reset/close in the middle of the day, often during a transaction.

I have also noticed this happens sometimes, but I may have found a reason.

I think this issue might be related to specific cards. I am not saying this is the only card or that it is always this card, but this time, a customer's card from Money Network kept crashing the system every time they tried to swipe it.

I ask if the community who has noticed this crashing mid-transaction to see what card was just swiped right before the system crashes.

I’ll keep an eye out because I have noticed the system closing the drawer randomly or crashing the system. Not sure the drawer closing would be related but the crashing could be. I’ll keep my eye out and report back.

It has been awhile since I have seen the card being used, but it just happened again with a card from the same bank/brand?
The customer card said "Money Network" in the United States

Hello @TechScholar, that is super bizarre! Thank you for reaching out and putting this on our radar. I am currently not seeing any other reports from our end about this issue. But I encourage you to reach out to Direct Support so we can have our team take look into this and if needed can escalate this to our engineers. I appreciate you trying to help get this figured out!
