Mobile POS Terminal Split Payments

Does anyone know how to accept part cash/part card split payments on the Square Mobile POS Terminal?  When I select Split Payment, it only lets me tender cash for the full sale amount, not a partial amount.  Thanks, Dave at THEATRICKS

Split payments on the Terminal are a little weird to get to for regular usage. When you're on the blue Tap, Insert, or Swipe screen, hit the white arrow in the upper left. This will give you a list of payment types. In the upper right, tap the Split Amount link. On this screen, you can adjust the Payment Amount by tapping on the dollar amount listed and adjusting or by splitting into equal payments. You'll then be prompted to complete payment 1. You can insert or swipe right from the payment type list, to enable tap just press the Tap, Insert, or Swipe link which should be the first one under the dollar amount. Once that is done, you are then prompted to continue to the second payment.

If you're using your terminal in Connected Terminal Mode, split payments aren't available yet. You'll have to use your linked device.

If this isn't working for you, check to see if there are any updates to your device at More -> Settings -> Hardware -> General -> About Square Terminal.
