Issue with my POS register updating.

Square resister only does a nightly reboot to find updates. I have two registers. One updated to the newest software version but the other one did not. Is there a way to make a manual update push? Only reason that its a bit frustrating is that one now accepts Cash app barcode payments but the other doesn’t. Thanks in advance for any help I can get with this.

Hello @Centexwheels I'm sorry you're having trouble with your Register. I don't have a definite answer for you but a few things might explain/help. Does the one register that didn't update say "most up-to-date" under software? There are different versions of hardware and it may be that hardware register is updated to the most recent it can support? It seems odd that you can't run the Cash App on both though...

And have you tried a Factory Reset on that register? It's possible that could force  a download? I wish I had a solid answer for you, but I hope you're able to get this resolved.

Hello and thank you for your response. I did do a factory reboot. It is saying that it is up to date with the version being 5.1.0142 but my other one is running on version 5.5.0035. I’ll try to factory reset it again and see if that does the trick
