Inquiry regarding the pre-authorization function

We are a vending machine manufacturer, and we want to install Square Reader on our machines. When a customer makes a purchase, they swipe their card to pre-freeze a certain amount. After successful pre-authorization, the vending machine opens, the customer takes the goods and closes the door. After the purchase is complete, the vending machine calculates the amount to be deducted, and then Square Reader completes the payment.

Does Square Reader support this function?
