Inconsistency between handheld units re: seating

We have 2 new handheld units, both programmed identically. Seating has been enabled. When a new table is started, both handhelds ask for the number of guests at the table. However, after that, 1 unit shows the guests so that orders can be divided by seat, while the other does not show this. Suggestions?

Hello @Route2Diner 👋 and thanks for reaching out with your question about the Split by Seat feature on your Square Handhelds.

It sounds like there's a difference between the two units, in terms of settings. Are both of your Square Handhelds on Square for Restaurants Plus, or, do you have full service, quick service or bar mode enabled if you're using the Square Point of Sale app? If so, you should be able to see the Split by Seat feature on your device.
