How to delete items on Register?

Hey there @morageek.  You don’t say which POS app you are using on your Register.  But, basically, you can go to “More” from your menu, then look for Items.  Click on that, edit the item you want to delete, and scroll to the bottom.  You’ll see a delete item button there.  This will permanently delete the item from your catalog so that it can’t be sold anymore.  But all history of sales for that item will remain as is.

 

Keep in mind that if you think you might decide to sell that item again in the future, you might prefer to go to your online dashboard item management and archive the item rather than deleting it.  That way if you do decide to sell it again, you can just reactivate it and all of the item setup will still be there.
