Before switching to Square, my previous POS system had an option to disable the delete item or clear cart option. The cashier would have to cash out and a receipt would print out. After this, the cart would be cleared and the cashier could start again. This allows me to see how many times the cashier is making mistakes and it products are being rung up incorrectly. Is there an option like this in Square for Retail POS?
To my knowledge this is not possible. If it were possible, it would be under the Team Management Tab I would think. Try requesting this as a "Feature Request" I'm sure a lot of people could use this. If you're having trouble with making sure things are being sold correctly or entered correctly, discounts being added incorrectly or inappropriately, then I would suggest keeping an eye on the "Activity Log" under Reports. This has been extremely useful for me!
