Has anyone figured out a workaround for scheduling delivery orders in Square for Retail?

We are stuck in our transition from our old system of placing orders for flowers to using Square. The holdup happens to be a couple kinks, but we are at a completely stand still. We are currently unable to schedule delivery orders for a specific time and day. It doesn't help us at all to be able to set a certain window of time after an order is placed. When our customer is ordering a flower arrangement for their sister's birthday, we really need to be able to schedule the delivery for that specific day at a specific time (or "before 4:00pm") right from our point of sale.

Is anyone doing this successfully?

I believe this is a feature request @KatieFitch I recommend you submit a Feature Request here. This will help our product team get visibility and track other Sellers' interest in your request.

Important: When submitting a request, make sure to include the desired feature, and provide the details of how this feature will help your business succeed (how would you use it and what you expect from it).

I'm happy to submit a feature request, and have done so with other features. There are 18 feature requests active on the Square for Retail Feature Request Page, and they're all marked as "New."  There's no indication of movement on even the oldest requests (weeks old). I was hoping for a more speedy dialogue from other sellers about their solutions, because Square's feature rollouts are often a secret until they're released to Beta, and I've seen requests for this feature all over the seller community for years.

Loud and Clear @KatieFitch. One thing I could recommend for a specific date and time would be to use Square Appointments for you to make the bookings yourself and you would be able to charge the exact price and enter the details of the delivery address.

It might not be ideal but is a possible solution while Square Online and Square for Retail implement the exact date and time pickup option.

Ah. Going through appointments. Haven't tried that yet. Thanks for the suggestion.
