Extremely Unhappy with our Square Stand 2

We upgraded to a Square Stand 2 and in less than a year the stand has completely failed us. The stand and iPad power but both the tap and dip readers are constantly in a failed state. Went through all the trouble shooting with support twice just to be told your stand is out of warranty and you will need to purchase another one. No user error, no iPad error simply a technology failure and the answer is to give them more money.

@barntiquecreati I know exactly what you are talking about.  It happens to us a lot, this is how we get around it.  We launch the app before we insert the iPad and the stand will see the chip and tap.  I have posted about this.  If it happens during the day We just pop the iPad out and reinsert it and it will register the chip and tap.  I know it’s frustrating and a pain when you have a line, but that’s the only work around we have found that works.
