We use a square stand v2 with an iPad for our pos. We have two identical Epson tm-p2011 bluetooth printers, one for kitchen and one for expo. They both should print the same tickets. The expo printer pauses on cash tickets. In other words, it puts the order in a queue which may or may not print a few minutes later. If we take a credit card the order ticket is printed automatically. In both instances the kitchen printer is printing everything automatically. The expo printer is right next to the register so it shouldn’t be a connectivity issue. We have tried updating firmware, deleting printer profiles, forgetting printer in iOS and square settings, hard reset of printer. Not only the pausing issue but now there are dozens of orders in the print queue that can’t be purged, which can’t help the issue. Anyone else had this happen? I’m thinking for card sales, it does a push to approve the card that completes the transaction (and prints), but I don’t understand why a cash transaction would be more difficult to process. Today was our first day using the malfunctioning printer so I could try to exchange it but it seems like it should be a fixable issue.
Oh a further note, I connected the printer to another device and it still had the same issue (this after the hard reset and firmware update).
