Entering a note when using keypad checkout option on iPad,

Hi, I have started to use my iPad instead of my iPhone, and use the keypad checkout option frequently. However, I cannot find the option to “add note” which appears under the spot where you enter an amount when using the version available on the iphone, is this not available on iPad? I can’t find it anywhere and miss this function.

Are you using the same version of app on your iPad and iPhone? There could be some updates and that is why there is a missing feature on one.

Double checked, same version 5.78, (5780015) spoc 1.0 ntep cc 19-065a2

 

the interface on the keypad checkout is different, which i can only assume is a bug since there is more screen space on the ipad under the manual entry spot for amount. The phone has a clickable ‘add note’ under the enter custom amount and the ipad does not, nor anywhere else to enter a note. The result is that you enter a sale amount with no description whatsoever of the sale item. 

 

I try to have all items pre-entered into a library, but there are always instances where i forgot to label something, or i need to make a change on the fly so i do also need the keypad entry mode to be functional.

Seeing that you have checked for versions the only last step I would suggest would be to uninstall the iPad app and reinstall it again to see if the issue gets resolved. If the issue still persists, you'll want to reach out.
