SO This has happened to me before (years ago) .. don't know why I would think it would work this time...
I had an Item .. Which had 92 variations.. I added 43 new variations, and updated the old ones ..
Saved the item, all is well ...
The system told me I had to delete some 'variations' in order for them to be viewable in the online store...
Soo I went back in and deleted 12 'variations' (I was at 137), and it deleted the entire item.
I sent support an email, but that could take 1-3 days .. Anything quicker besides calling support?
We all know there's no 'undo' (which has been brought up since 2016) ..
@OT-HOBBY There isn't an "undo" button, what I recommend is periodically downloading your item catalog. It's a big ole .csv file. From there you can always do a redo. What I mean by that is: OH NOES I deleted an item: Download current catalog. Edit catalog file and copy over from archived catalog you have saved somewhere the item that went awol. Upload the catalog and toasters strudel you got it back. Not convenient, but it will work. It is just good to quarterly or annually download sales data and the catalog in the event of catastrophe or gremlins.
