Something happened with our customer facing display, blocking the insertion of cards. Since this register was purchased Mar 2020, Square says there is no replacement available, our display has been discontinued. The only solution they had was to purchase a new register with the display for $799. Unbelievable that they don't sell replacement parts, I can understand if it was 10 years old, but less than 3??
Hi @KC_Phil. I’m sorry to hear about your misfortune. The best alternative I can give you is to do a Google search for “Square Register replacement customer display.” I did one and found a few sites that claim to have them available. Having said that, please understand that I can not guarantee these will work in your situation. It is definitely a good idea to get someone on the phone and verify (by serial number of such) that what they are selling will work in your situation.
