Contactless reader not accepting debit cards in Canada

My contactless reader won't accept and debit cards that are linked to visa.

Hi @TownhouseBeauty! Welcome to the Community.

With the Contactless + Chip reader, you'd only be able to accept debit tap but some customers may have tap disabled which is probably giving you this issue.

We do have a new Terminal that has full Interac acceptance if you're interested on the Square Shop. But if not, you may experience these limitations with the Contactless reader because of customers having that feature disabled.
